Franz Schubert Filharmonia and María Florea to Lead Orchestral Concerts at ModComFest 2026
ModComFest 2026 is pleased to announce that the three orchestral concerts which will be held as part of this latest edition, and which will be taking place from the 21st to the 23rd September at the renowned Palau de la Música Catalana, will be featuring the musicians of the acclaimed Franz Schubert Filharmonia from Spain.
The orchestra will be led by violinist and conductor María Florea, who will appear in the dual role of soloist and conductor. These performances will form the symphonic centrepiece of this special edition of ModComFest, dedicated to the music of Max Richter, and will centre on Richter’s Vivaldi: The Four Seasons Recomposed, alongside additional orchestral works to be announced soon.
