Musical Composition in Cinema with Michel Petrossian at Angers Premiers Plans Festival
On 22 January 2026, as part of the 38th edition of the Premiers Plans Festival in Angers (France), a special professional session “La composition musicale au cinéma” brings together composers Michel Petrossian and Carla Pallone for an in-depth discussion on the art and craft of film music.
The event – moderated by film music journalist Benoît Basirico and presented in partnership with Sacem – explores the creative role of music in cinema through examples from Petrossian’s work including Et la fête continue !, La Pie voleuse and En fanfare.
Held at the Centre de congrès Jean-Monnier in Angers from 10:00 to 11:30, this open-access session offers cinephiles, composers and industry professionals a unique opportunity to engage with one of today’s leading voices in contemporary film scoring.
